You may also know Vodcasts as "video podcasts." We at IMS use Vodcast as a term to describe "mobile video." Whether it is video for Video iPods™ or for mobile phones, mobile video is growing in acceptance and will soon be as mainstream as MP3 audio.

When considering how your programs may be converted in mobile video products, keep in mind that you may have more visuals to work with than just video sessions. What do we mean? For larger meetings where cost may prohibit education coordinators from video recording all sessions, Vodcasts may be created from speakers' PowerPoint slides synchronized with audio files. This makes for engaging and portable learning for your customers.
